is Father's Day!
Are you ready? I soo am NOT. This is the last week of school, the week we celebrate my son's "unbirthday" and things are just crazy.
I haven't really thought (ok, I've thought but that's about it) of what to get my dad, my husband. Oh man, time is fastly approaching.
I'm going to give a $$50 gift certificate to Home Depot, or Lowe's (whichever you are around) to one lucky reader on Thursday. This is for the man in your life, your dad, or husband, or yourself if there's not a MAN in your life. Everyone can always find something at a home improvement store right??

my dad is going to be out of town, so for my husband I'm going to make him breakfast, then I bought him a book he really wanted, and I'm gonna let the girls pick out something for him from Target. I'll probably make enchiladas for dinner cuz that's his favorite. Not too thrilling, but the way to a man's heart is through him stomach!
Let's see. For Father's Day we'll be running all over town. All the dads in our lives are local. I think we'll be taking my hubby out for dinner on Saturday and then lunch Sunday with the inlaws and dinner with my parents. It's busy but fun. :)
What I like is the chance/excuse to get my husband a gift because he never buys anything for himself. He's about the easiest person to buy for because of that! I surprised him with a netbook this year.
We're going to try to go to the zoo this weekend! Hubby is getting some Fritos and some other US snacks, lol. He was craving fritos a few weeks ago, so I ordered some for him, and *ouch* i hated paying so much!! Oh well, it will definitely make him happy!!
As for my dad, since we are sooooo far away from each other now, I will just have to give him a phone call, and I'm planning on sending him something, but sadly it won't get there in time for Sunday....so winning a Home Depot giftcard for him would be awesome!! He'd love that! ;)
