It's amazing when you bring a new baby home, how much your old "baby" seems so, well .... old. hehe
Mr. B is still very young in my opinion, to have another sibling {they are 21 months} apart.
He decided that he was ready for the potty, when he saw everyone else in the house using one. I fought it for a few days, maybe a week because he was only 18 months, and that just seemed too young. Plus being pregnant, I don't know that I wanted to deal with what goes with PT'ing.
Well, I pulled the "Royal Throne" out and he started using it like a champ. He understood the , go pee pee in the potty, get a candy, reward after what?? the 2nd time? NO fooling this kid. I still put a diaper on him at night and when we go out to run errands, because with a newborn, I honestly don't want to deal with messes while we are out and about, but at home, he has it down. I think he's better using the toilet than my 7 year old. @@ I just can't believe it was this easy. and I know I'm not down yet and far from being totally trained, but just sitting on the toilet and knowing and having the urge to go takes some time for some kids and this one had it DOWN. yeahhhhh!!
Anyways, this little guy would run away from me and not stand for me to take pictures of him at all. He laughed at me and thought it was funny to hide his face. Well, have a new baby and take pictures of her, (or try) and he wants to be all apart of it now. So the other day, when I was trying to get some shots of LBG, he wanted his pictures taken. So I obliged and this is what we got.
My Blue-eyed Boy
He was copying his sister who I had laying down on her tummy.
He's such a funny head. I love him. He doesn't say much, but has added, baby, YEAH!!, wa wa (water) and Buddy (the neighbors dog) to his vocabulary in the past few weeks. I think he's an observer and just watches everything that goes on in this crazy house, because he understands EVERYTHING . He's such a good helper, still LOVES to be outside, loves music and rocking out (that was sooo his dad's doing) and go BOOOINGGG!! {oh yeah, another new word} on the trampoline. Such my sweet little baby boy and I'm sad to see him grow up. He loves his baby sister though and always wants to be with her, near her, help her. He probably won't know his life without her. I hope they'll be great friends. Love you Mr. B!!
